His Ancient Ways Anchored Verse Map Printable is a verse mapping template designed to keep you deeply anchored in context when verse mapping. Verse Mapping is a wonderful way to do an inductive Bible study, allowing you to dig deep into just a single verse or two. However, a problem can arise when you focus just on a single verse: it's too easy to take the verse out of context. Even when you're trying hard not to take it out of context, it's still easy to wander off looking for cross references that fit what you think the verse might be about. This template forces you to look at your passage in question FIRST for the verses that will help you interpret your focus verse. THEN you will know what scriptural cross references are a good fit to help with interpretation.
NOTE: This is an early draft of this concept. It will eventually be turned into a verse mapping book but I'm giving it out for free as a printable template now because it's still in the early stages of design-development. Therefore it's quite simple but still highly usable.
